Civic Is Back with Vengeance!

I don’t get drawn in the hype of the day easily (Ajax, tag clouds, XML friends, Ruby on Rails, you name it), but I’m psyched—totally psyched—about this year’s Honda Civic. Being a Civic owner myself, I’ve been wondering if Honda would ever do anything beyond changing the shape of tail lights on this little best-seller.

I read about this almost a year ago in Business Week. Apparently sales with the current Civic were not as Honda had hoped and they realized that the new design, while nice, did not appeal to a once loyal crowd which bought the car to make modifications etc (as a show and performance car).

The goal for the new design was to go to a more sporty design. I am actually excited, and I own an Accord!
