Disabling Page Transitions in Internet Explorer

If you are tired of sites that do “page transitions” in IE as much as I am, here’s a quick and dirty fix.

  1. Run Internet Explorer,
  2. Go to Tools -> Internet Options…,
  3. Click the Advanced tab,
  4. Deselect “Enable page transitions.”

For some reason (and this is only my opinion), page transitions look especially creepy when the blog engine behind the site displays full posts on a 10-mile page as opposed to only blurbs.

I wish there was also an option, “Don’t let anyone mess with the browser Back button.”
