What's New in Web Server Controls

If you don’t have time (or willingness) to dig around MSDN and figure out what changed between 1.x and 2.0, here’s an article for you: What’s New in Web Server Controls, courtesy of MSDN.

My favorite 2.0 changes and additions from this list are:

  • Validation groups
  • Focusing on offending controls upon validation errors
  • Default buttons
  • The new BulletedList control
  • The new Substitution control
  • The new Mode property on the Literal control
